Dr Victoria Samuel is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, based in Bristol, UK. Victoria works within a specialist child team in the NHS and has previously worked in a variety of additional NHS services including a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service and a Looked After Children Team. She has also worked as a volunteer with children from Bosnia, with International Voluntary Service, and with children experiencing poverty in rural Ecuador with Global Vision International.
Victoria is passionate about parenting and believes parents face the most influential and valuable ‘job’ of all. Whilst often instinctive, parenting can also be challenging. Victoria believes it is normal for parents to experience times when they feel stressed or overwhelmed by parenting demands. Aware of the difficulties parents can experiences in gaining sensitive advice and guidance at such times, Victoria established The Parent Support Service, www.parentsupportservice.co.uk which she now runs. The Parent Support Service provides practical, professional guidance for common parenting concerns and aims to reduce family stress. The service specialises in:

- Equipping parents with practical strategies for managing problems, which are effective and grounded in psychological theory.
- Adopting a collaborative & individualised approach, which respects families’ unique values & children’s varied temperaments.
