Karin Hobbs is a freelance writer and PR focusing on social issues. Since volunteering as a teenager at a holiday centre for wheelchair users, Karin has been interested in how people are disadvantaged in our society. She has worked for more than a decade in the not for profit sector with organisations including children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent, Help The Aged and disability charity Kids, helping them to raise awareness of issues and get their message across. Since becoming a mother, Karin also writes on parenting and children’s issues. She has a feisty three year old daughter and a baby son.
